STORYING HOW MY WEEK HAS BEEN

I have barely got any work done this week because I got myself entrapped in unproductive debates over the state of Nigeria.

For four straight days, on a WhatsApp group, with people I thought ‘should know better’ as we are (or so I think) committed to some core transformational values. But eish, I am full of doubt now that Nigeria will get better because ethnonationalist mentality is alive and well in intellectual spaces.

Suffice to say I am ever so reluctant now to tell any Nigerian to stop demanding secession.
